A rustic wooden cabin with a wraparound porch set in a wooded area, ideal for private cabin rentals in Tennessee.

We at NaCoMe Camp & Retreat Center in Pleasantville, Tennessee, offer a diverse selection of private cabin rentals that pair modern comfort with rustic charm. Our 600-acre estate of rolling hills, creeks, and hardwood forests in the Western Highland Rim provides a tranquil, secluded setting that stands apart from Tennessee’s busier tourist areas. Each cabin is climate-controlled with heat and air conditioning and includes a private interior bathroom, so guests enjoy home-like amenities even in the wilderness. From family vacations and couples’ escapes to large group retreats, our cabins and on-site activities make us a premier choice for an authentic Tennessee cabin experience.

Cabin Types and Amenities

Standard Cabins (Bunk-Style Cabins)

NaCoMe Camp & Retreat Center’s classic family cabins are built for group comfort. Each one holds four private bunk-style rooms sleeping six to eight guests, with a full bed and twin bunks. Every room has its own bathroom plus heating and air conditioning. Guests share a wide covered porch with rocking chairs, a central common room, and often a fireplace for relaxed evenings. Most cabins are handicap accessible. They suit medium to large families, youth groups, and retreat teams who want privacy and community along with modern climate control and private baths.

Cabin 11 (Two-Room Cabin for Small Groups)

At NaCoMe Camp & Retreat Center, our cozy Cabin 11 works well for small families or friend groups. The building is split into two private rooms that share a covered porch. Each room sleeps up to three guests, has its own bathroom, plus heat and AC, and can be arranged for a couple or a small family. The side-by-side layout lets everyone stay under one roof while keeping personal space. Enjoy the wooded view from the porch, then relax in climate-controlled comfort inside. Cabin 11 is a smart pick for two couples, an extended family, or any small group that wants privacy without losing the camp feel.

Cabins 1 and 2 (Lodge-Style for Large Groups)

Cabins 1 and 2 suit our biggest groups. Each lodge has two wings that sleep 16 guests apiece, so one cabin holds up to 32 people. Recent renovations added modern bathrooms, heating, and air conditioning, keeping everyone comfortable year-round. Covered porches and nearby fire circles give plenty of space for casual talks, picnics, and starlit campfires. Each wing has its own restrooms and bunks, handy for separating guests by age or gender. These spacious bunkhouses work well for youth camps, sports teams, and any large gathering that wants to stay under one roof.

Cabin 12 (Private Rooms for Couples or Individuals)

We designed Cabin 12 for guests who want extra privacy. The building has two self-contained rooms, each set up like a small suite with a double bed, one or two bunk beds, a private bathroom, heat, and AC. Couples, small families, or retreat leaders can enjoy hotel-like comfort while staying close to camp life. Spend the day with the group, then wind down in your own quiet space.

Suitability for Families, Couples, and Large Groups

NaCoMe Camp & Retreat Center’s range of cabins makes it uniquely capable of hosting all kinds of visitors, from a romantic getaway for two up to a gathering of 200+ (across multiple cabins). Here’s how we meet the needs of families, couples, and large groups:

  • Families We give kids a safe space to roam, play games, and spot wildlife while parents enjoy peace and quiet. Your crew can book one bunk-style room, take both rooms in Cabin 11 or 12, or reserve an entire standard cabin for a reunion. On site, children dive into the swimming hole, tackle the playground, paddle boats, and toast marshmallows at the nightly campfire. Family-style meals keep everyone fed and chatting. It is an easy, screen-free way for families to reconnect in the Tennessee woods.

  • Couples Our 600-acre hideaway of creeks, meadows, and starry skies sets the mood for a romantic escape far from traffic and crowds. Cabin 12 offers a cozy double bed plus a private bath. Spend the day hiking quiet trails, paddling the lake, or rocking on the porch with a view. After sunset, share s’mores by the fire and trace constellations overhead. We can even add reflective moments, such as the prayer labyrinth, for a spiritually refreshing weekend. NaCoMe Camp & Retreat Center blends privacy and laid-back fun in one setting.

  • Large Groups With several cabins and two lodges that sleep 32 each, we host corporate teams, church retreats, scout troops, and big family gatherings with ease. Groups spread out across our campus, yet stay close for fellowship. You get large halls, small breakout rooms, and open pavilions equipped with seating, sound, and projectors, plus staff-led team-building on the low-ropes course and playing fields. The dining hall serves buffet or family-style meals, so feeding the crowd is simple. From youth campers to executives, everyone enjoys focused time together and smooth logistics under one roof.

On-Site Activities and Recreation

Our 600-acre property doubles as an activity-filled adventure park and nature preserve, so guests never need to leave campus for fun. Here’s what we offer:

  • High-Adrenaline Adventures Try the 50-foot zipline, Vertical Playpen climbing tower, Giant Swing, and Leap of Faith pole jump, all run by trained staff.

  • Water & Outdoor Fun Enjoy the spring-fed swimming hole, canoeing and kayaking on the lake, catch-and-release fishing, forest hiking trails, and a peaceful prayer labyrinth.

  • Sports & Games Shoot archery, axe throw, or sling shots; play soccer or flag football on open fields; hit the sand volleyball or basketball courts; join 9-Square-in-the-Air, gaga ball, or the playground; and gather for nightly campfires with s’mores and stargazing.

  • Team-Building Tackle a low-ropes course, crate stacking, large group games, and customized scavenger hunts that build trust and communication.
