Facilities

Cabin Exterior
The facilities at NaCoMe are the result of the love and stewardship of Presbyterians in our churches. No, these are not the NaCoMe summer cabins from "back in the day." We have six big cabins (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10) that each sleep 30-32 people. Each cabin has four bedrooms, and four private bathrooms. The bedrooms consist of 3-4 bunk style beds, each room having one double sized bottom bunk bed and the remaining beds are twins. There is a meeting room in the center of each building. Cabins 4, 6, 8 & 10 have a fireplace. All of these buildings have central heating and air conditioning. Except for Cabin 4 all of these cabins are handicapped accessible.

Cabin 9 which sleeps 16 people, also has four separate rooms each with private bath.
Cabin 9 has a lovely decking system, but is a climb.

Cabin 3 Exterior
Cabin 3 is our newest building dedicated in 2006. Cabin 3 overlooks the lake with a magnificent porch.
Accomodations here are four bedrooms each with two double beds (bottom bunk) and two twin beds (top bunk).
Each room has heat, AC and a private bath.

Cabin 3
Bath - Exterior - Bedroom
We have a couple of other cabins in camp that can be used for smaller groups which also have heat, AC, and private bath facilities in each room. These cabins provide a bit more privacy than our larger cabins, but have very limited housing space for large groups. Inquire with the camp office for more information.
We also have several other cabins that can be used in 3 seasons for large groups up to 250.
In addition to our cabins we have several meeting facilities. The Conference Room in the Dining Hall was renovated in 2003. It is a multi purpose room with all of the conference amenities available. Remember as you plan your event to consider your need for Bibles, white boards, flip charts, overheads, projectors, TV/VCR, DVD, etc.

Hull Chapel
Hull Chapel, built in 1950, and renovated winter 2004, is a large open air chapel that is ideal for summer, spring, and fall meetings. Seating is about 250. PA system is available. Be sure to visit the prayer chapel in the woods behind Hull Chapel for a place of quiet reflection.

Rec Hall
The Recreation Hall is located across the creek from Cabins 3,4,5,& 6. The building is heated in winter and has wide wooden windows which swing open for warmer weather. In 2003-2004 a new PA system was added as well as new heaters and lighting. Seating is 300. This building has hosted square dancing, revivals, retreats, worship, Presbytery meetings, various recreation games, rainy night campfires, weddings... The Rec. Hall can do it all.

Dale Building
The Dale building is the site for registration, canteen,a game of Reformed Rings, or just sitting and talking. Groups may choose to seat up to 25 for worship or discussion in the heated interior which has hardwood floors, a fireplace, and a panoramic view of camp. Or in good weather throw open the doors and use the wide expansive proches for some of the best sittin' and grinnin' around. Watch out if you go off the porch the Swamp Monster lives nearby!

Dining Hall
The Dining Hall looks the same on the outside as when your mama and daddy came to camp. Only now we have put in climate control, bathrooms, and other amenities. We do a little to the Dining Hall each year to keep the cook's happy. But we kept the best part - NaCoMe cooking! Our dining hall has some of the best food you have ever tasted. If you want country cookin', then welcome home. Or if your group has other needs we are happy to work with you. Our head cook Kathy, has over 20 years of experience cooking for large groups. Rolls, biscuits and buns are made fresh daily, and if you are good, we'll serve our hot, fresh, and world famous, made from scratch, cinnamon rolls! You can even take some home at the end of your retreat for just $5.00/dozen!
